Have a guy interested in Cano, who's going for the title this year. Thinking of offering something like Cano/Greinke/Cain for Goldschmidt/Teheran/Hardy or Goldschmidt/Kluber/Hardy. Cano/Greinke are keepers for me now, and Goldschmidt/Teheran (or Kluber) would be after the trade. Guessing the Teheran deal might be a hard sell. Is Kluber keeper-worthy and is the upgrade from Cano to Goldschmidt worth the downgrade from Greinke to Kluber? Kluber is a 22nd round pick and Greinke is a 6th rounder (you lose that round's pick in next year's draft). I'm definitely working to consolidate my keeper value in hitters rather than pitchers. 12 Teams | 13 Hitters Per Team [5 Active = HR RBI SB R BA] | 9 Pitchers Per Team [5 Active = W SV ERA WHIP SO] (Also have Buxton, Sano, J. Kluber in 22nd round is an awesome value, what round is Teheran taken in? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Teheran is an 11th round pick. First year of the league. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
The Teheran deal might be a hard sell, but you risk nothing in offering it. Greinke is obviously a stud, and he gains more certainty in current season production relative to Teheran. I wouldn't look at this as your getting a massive upgrade in Goldy, which means you should get significantly less value elsewhere. If anything, Cano's premium position makes up for some of the gap in current production. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
