I'm currently sitting in 4/10 in my roto league. I'd be sitting around 2nd but I am dead last in steals. I am sitting on 51 steals but the guy who is 6th in steals only has 56 so I see this as an area where I can definitely gain a lot of ground. As you can see, the offense overall is pretty solid and my points in my league reflect that (1st in runs, 2nd in HR and RBI and 3rd in average. I'm pretty much average across the board in all pitching categories. Gaining any ground in saves is pretty much impossible at this point, so I ask, what should I do?! 12 Teams | 13 Hitters Per Team [5 Active = HR RBI SB R BA] | 9 Pitchers Per Team [5 Active = W SV ERA WHIP SO] 1 | 7 | 1.40 | Jones, Adam | | BAL | OF | 69 | | 275 | 40 | 82 | 47 | 10 | 55 | 0.296 | 14 | 6 | 1.89 | 2.37 | 0.09 | 1.48 | 1.16 | 2 | 20 | 0.73 | Puig, Yasiel | | LAD | OF | 60 | | 229 | 37 | 68 | 35 | 25 | 51 | 0.299 | 11 | 6 | 0.84 | 0.68 | 0.04 | 0.97 | 1.11 | 2 | 24 | 0.63 | Lucroy, Jonathan | | MIL | C | 59 | | 225 | 35 | 71 | 37 | 22 | 28 | 0.318 | 8 | 3 | -0.04 | 0.92 | -0.40 | 0.65 | 2.02 | 3 | 28 | 0.55 | Rizzo, Anthony | | CHC | 1B | 67 | | 246 | 37 | 68 | 36 | 32 | 51 | 0.276 | 13 | 1 | 1.56 | 0.81 | -0.67 | 1.10 | -0.03 | 4 | 47 | 0.17 | Cabrera, Melky | | TOR | OF | 62 | | 253 | 37 | 73 | 30 | 18 | 31 | 0.287 | 6 | 4 | -0.59 | 0.05 | -0.26 | 1.06 | 0.57 | 6 | 61 | 0.04 | Ramirez, Aramis | | MIL | 3B | 55 | | 209 | 27 | 59 | 35 | 12 | 31 | 0.284 | 9 | 1 | 0.50 | 0.67 | -0.76 | -0.53 | 0.33 | 6 | 65 | 0.02 | Dozier, Brian | | MIN | 2B | 64 | | 247 | 33 | 61 | 26 | 30 | 50 | 0.245 | 9 | 14 | 0.36 | -0.54 | 1.48 | 0.48 | -1.70 | 6 | 67 | -0.03 | Davis, Chris | | BAL | 1B | 67 | | 233 | 33 | 55 | 31 | 25 | 79 | 0.235 | 14 | 2 | 1.93 | 0.20 | -0.62 | 0.44 | -2.11 | 7 | 73 | -0.07 | Calhoun, Kole | | LAA | OF | 48 | | 189 | 31 | 55 | 25 | 18 | 39 | 0.290 | 8 | 3 | 0.07 | -0.67 | -0.44 | 0.14 | 0.55 | 7 | 74 | -0.08 | Pearce, Steve | | BAL | 1B/DH/OF | 60 | | 205 | 29 | 56 | 28 | 22 | 44 | 0.275 | 9 | 4 | 0.24 | -0.15 | -0.28 | -0.15 | -0.07 | 7 | 77 | -0.10 | Donaldson, Josh | | OAK | 3B | 65 | | 230 | 31 | 61 | 31 | 27 | 49 | 0.263 | 10 | 2 | 0.58 | 0.12 | -0.53 | 0.02 | -0.68 | 7 | 84 | -0.14 | Ramirez, Alexei | | CHW | SS | 68 | | 248 | 26 | 70 | 28 | 11 | 30 | 0.284 | 4 | 10 | -0.99 | -0.21 | 0.85 | -0.75 | 0.40 | 10 | 114 | -0.42 | Aybar, Erick | | LAA | SS | 63 | | 234 | 23 | 65 | 28 | 10 | 24 | 0.278 | 4 | 7 | -1.08 | -0.20 | 0.32 | -1.17 | 0.04 | |

It looks like one trade for SB would make you better than average in that category going forward. It's nice you have a buffer in HR and RBI since the SB guys tend to kill those cats. Have you made any offers? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
You should try to offer Donaldson around for a good value SB player. Donaldson is a solid player to sell high on. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
I've been trying to offer Donaldson and Ramirez around but I guess I'm asking too much. I'm just having a hard time making a deal fit. I am sitting solid in the OF and at 1B, so I figured any additional piece would come from there. The problem I'm fighting is that a lot of the people in my league are hung up on name recognition and wouldn't accept a deal for someone like Pearce. Although, I'd like to keep Pearce because he is playable at 3 positions. Would it be wrong to try to move Rizzo? I know that is a broad question, but he is probably the most valuable piece that I could afford to part with. I do have the advantage of a lot people in my league not understanding projections, and would probably bite hard on Simon if I bundled him in there. Although, I am reluctant to let him go because he continues to prove people wrong and get me valuable wins. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
