Very interesting Fangraphs article about starting/sitting pitchers against certain opponents

made me wonder…does BBM adjust the starting pitcher’s daily projection based on the actual starting lineup once it is announced? For example, Buster Posey (RHB) hits LHP better than RHP. Does BBM boost a LHP’s daily projection when it is announced that Posey will be sitting (as many catchers do about once/week) or, for that matter, any other daily lineup changes that might be made. For example, sometime in the last couple of weeks, I seem to remember that the Reds ran out a lineup which did not include Phillips, Mesoraco, Votto, Frazier or Bruce. I would think whatever pitcher faced that lineup deserved an immediate boost of that day’s production.

For daily and weekly projections, the pitcher projections take into account the strength of the lineup for that specific day.
