Marlins -- on the values, I think of it as pitchers should be compared to pitchers, batters to batters - I don't use their respective values to choose/rank in the draft. That said, they are indicative and do tell me top pitchers can be worth more than their ADP, but as Ken said you don't want to overload on pitchers. The key knock on them is that they can be more up and down than batters. For example, in past years, with Kershaw way ahead, I used that as justification to draft him 3-5 after Trout and Cabrera. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
