I have a question when it comes to the strategy of drafting. is it wrong to go pitchers with my first picks. which value should i judge my picks on? i noticed pitchers have greater value. every time its my turn to draft it recommends i draft a pitcher?

8 Teams | 10 Hitters Per Team [5 Active = BA R HR RBI SB] | 7 Pitchers Per Team [5 Active = ERA WHIP SV SO QS]

I wouldn't overdo the pitchers since they tend to have higher ADPs.  Make sure to keep an eye on ADP so you don't draft pitchers sooner than needed in other words.

I would watch your Team Analysis while drafting since if you get too many RP, you'll be bad in Wins and K. I try to draft only RP (ideally closers or setup) that also have very good WHIP/ERA which allows me to take a risk on some of the SP who aren't good in this area.

Marlins -- on the values, I think of it as pitchers should be compared to pitchers, batters to batters - I don't use their respective values to choose/rank in the draft.  That said, they are indicative and do tell me top pitchers can be worth more than their ADP, but as Ken said you don't want to overload on pitchers.  The key knock on them is that they can be more up and down than batters.

For example, in past years, with Kershaw way ahead, I used that as justification to draft him 3-5 after Trout and Cabrera.
