I am in a league where you can only have 12 starts a week, but no limit on relief appearances, making closers deceptively valuable in this league (a points league). Is there any way to include this variable in auction draft value? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
12 starts sounds like a lot for a week. How many pitchers are on each team? I'm just curious what percent of pitchers need to be SP to reach the 12 starts. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
There are 9 active pitchers every day, so about 2-3 start per day 0% Agree (0 votes) |
How many total would be on your roster? To get 12 starts each week, I would think you'd need 9 SP. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Last year, I would Roster 5 permanent starters, 6 permanent relief pitchers, then stream as many as needed through the week. I am just trying to figure out if there is a way to better value relief pitchers 0% Agree (0 votes) |
We do have the Positional Value which tells you how RPs compare to other RPs. This can be used to show which RPs are worth considering before looking at more SPs. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
I've noticed that. I may be overestimating the importance of picking up a few points from relievers night in night out over good starters, but closers are weighted veeery low even when I put in 5 RP's for settings. Thanks for responding so quick. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
