Stashing Bonifacio in my roto 12-teamer (OBP over BA) for SBs. Recently made a play for C. Gomez, rendering the SB need a bit less urgent. I'm trying to get a feel for how Bonifacio's role/PT will shake out given the (potential) emergence of Alcantara and the general muddiness of the Cub's infield.

Projections here are pretty down on K. Wong, but I have a hard time seeing myself dropping Wong, a potentially much better across-the-board play, to activate one-trick Bonifacio. I'm particularly uneasy about Bonifacio because of the potential OBP hit--my stretch run for the title looks to involve a fairly heated OBP dog fight.

Thoughts?

Do you need Bonifacio's SBs? He looks like he would hurt your team more than help. Assuming your rosters are up-to-date, would stashing Victorino (could be back right after the break) be a better bet than Bonafacio?

I've thought about stashing Victorino (or Fowler, recently dropped). My problem there is that I don't have anywhere to play them, barring injury, whereas the MI spot has been a revolving door for me all year. Still, better safe than sorry--can't hurt to have a backup stashed. Might stick with Wong, though, in MI, at least until further notice.

Appreciate the response. Cheers.

That looks reasonable plus Wong has been batting 2nd lately so if can continue doing that, he'll get a nice value boost.
