As the rankings change over the course of the season wanted some advice for when to pick up a pitcher or a hitter.  What indicators are best too look at in order to decide to pick up a player.  For example if I remember correctly, Brian Dozier was not ranked high in last years projections.  However, over the course of the season his stock increased.

Additionally, are there going to be tools on baseballmonster that would compare pre-season projection rank to present day projection rank? The idea being I want to be able to pick up players in my league before anyone else using baseballmonster.

Currently, the best way to find a player is simply under Projections, using Available & My Players filter to compare your players to those available.   If you're looking for short-term moves, you can do the same under Weekly Projections.

Ideally, there would be more automated ways to highlight available players. In theory (for Yahoo! at least), we can download your current rosters automatically and find the best available.  Maybe there can be a threshold where we email you suggested adds.  As a start, a page summarizing your complete league with best available would be a good beginning.

During the season, you will be able to see a players Preseason Projection vs. Remaining Projection under the Player Info. We could also add a Comparison Column which includes Preseason projection.

I also had a similar question as Solo225. Ken - I like the idea of having a page summarizing the league with best available. Basketball monster started to do this with a daily summary this year and was super helpful. Thanks
