What areas of Pitching should I work on? Hitting?

H2H 12-tm Yahoo league.  Currenlty in 2nd place.  I also have Trevor Plouffe, but thinking of dropping him to help my BAV.  Thanks.

The hitting looks good, and Davis/Teixeira will likely keep your BAV low even if you drop Plouffe. It looks like you're heavy on saves which hurts W/K so I'm guessing you're streaming SP based on matchups with your transactions?

I was streaming SP after getting the advice here.  Then the 3-4-5 place guys got five RPs, so went that for a while to rack up SV.  I tried finding a RP who can get some W/K with low ERA/WHIP, but had little to some success.  I got to about 2.5 - 3.5 games back of 1st.  However, the first place gal started streaming SP and has been up and down with that.  Recently, she's starting to pull away again, so am looking to see what I should do.  So you recommend I should fight fire with fire and stream SPs for WV and SOV?  I would have an advantage against her with SV as she appears to be punting SV.

Since this is H2H, I assume you have playoffs?  If so, how important is first during the regular season? How do you match up with the #1 team?

Well, if you must know, she's started off stomping the whole league with 10-0, 9-1, 8-2 type weekly wins or it seemed that way.  In the past few weeks, she's been making some mistakes dropping players I can scoop up and evaluate.  Her hitters are better than mine, but I think I can get at least two cats while two more will have to be decided.  If I get to the Finals against her, it will be decided by the pitching -- W/K and ERA/WHIP.  Last week I did better than I thought and am only 3.5 games behind.  The other guys are not streaming except for the third place guy, so weekly player pool has been good (but drying up).  I may end up streaming C as Vogt isn't helping, too.

Ack.  Thbbft.  Blech.

Just when I pick up Michael Pineda (place on DL), Jaime Garcia and Joe Ross, she smoothly picks up David Peralta and Odubel Herrera.  Peralta is who I needed to replace Plouff and Vogt.  Now, I'm relegated to picking Plouff, Vogt back up or guys with similar production and lousy BA.  She's also picking up RPs in Kahnle and Arodys Vizcaino to match.

She's good.  Real good.  She's been leading wire-to-wire.

Young guys left Randal Grichuk, Miguel Sano and Rougned Odor.

My other choices are counting on guys like Ben Zobrist and Curtis Granderson (she just dropped) meeting BBM projection.

I can stream C with Jaso, James McCann, Welington Castillo, AJ Pierz, Lucroy, Nick Hundley and so on.

What would you do?

I see you don't have your rosters imported for your league.  Are you not using one of the three big providers?  Just curious since it would be nice to see an analysis of your whole league.

Your team looks pretty competitive in its current state.  If you go to Projected Standings and click "Show H2H Matchup", you'll see your estimated wins/losses vs. each team.  As of now, you're beating all teams, but it should highlight the stat areas you need to concentrate on to win vs. an individual opponent.  If you're OK showing team names, feel free to paste your projected standings here and note the team you're trying to beat.
