If I take the offer, I'd drop Yelich or Brantley (leaning towards Brantley right now). The guy also has Cespedes and Rios, whom I could try to get instead of the outfielders on offer. Multiple people in this league seem interested in Felix and I am not opposed to moving him for the right offer, though I am also happy to have him anchor my staff. I've been trying to go after a first baseman but most owners have been reluctant to part with the solid mid-range options. I was originally trying to finagle a swap of Grienke and Hawkins for Fielder, but seems that's a no go. This is in a 12 team h2h league with 6 keepers. I'm torn between going with a sort of punt HR/RBI strategy--maybe not full on punt, but deemphasis on those stats based on how my draft turned out. I think the trade would make my team more well rounded, however, it would also mean I'm not going to dominate pitching every week. Informed (even ill-informed) opinions/analysis would be very much appreciated. 12 Teams | 12 Hitters Per Team [5 Active = HR RBI SB R BA] | 7 Pitchers Per Team [5 Active = W SV ERA WHIP SO] 1 | 3 | 1.19 | McCutchen, Andrew | | PIT | OF | 148 | | 549 | 84 | 167 | 81 | 72 | 103 | 0.305 | 22 | 20 | 0.74 | 1.21 | 0.76 | 1.24 | 1.99 | 2 | 13 | 0.78 | Harper, Bryce | | WAS | OF | 133 | | 518 | 87 | 147 | 71 | 67 | 115 | 0.283 | 25 | 14 | 1.17 | 0.50 | 0.22 | 1.50 | 0.51 | 4 | 44 | 0.26 | Carpenter, Matt | | STL | 2B/3B | 143 | | 587 | 89 | 176 | 57 | 70 | 101 | 0.300 | 10 | 3 | -0.96 | -0.43 | -0.75 | 1.65 | 1.78 | 4 | 48 | 0.22 | Segura, Jean | | MIL | SS | 139 | | 575 | 73 | 159 | 52 | 31 | 85 | 0.277 | 11 | 36 | -0.87 | -0.76 | 2.12 | 0.44 | 0.15 | 5 | 53 | 0.16 | Heyward, Jason | | ATL | OF | 133 | | 538 | 85 | 141 | 56 | 67 | 114 | 0.263 | 23 | 11 | 0.79 | -0.50 | -0.07 | 1.34 | -0.76 | 6 | 61 | 0.01 | Martinez, Victor | | DET | 1B | 132 | | 494 | 60 | 146 | 78 | 42 | 45 | 0.296 | 13 | 1 | -0.61 | 1.00 | -0.95 | -0.65 | 1.26 | 8 | 96 | -0.28 | Brantley, Michael | | CLE | OF | 135 | | 486 | 55 | 139 | 63 | 39 | 55 | 0.286 | 8 | 14 | -1.22 | 0.00 | 0.17 | -1.01 | 0.66 | 9 | 99 | -0.31 | Yelich, Christian | | MIA | OF | 135 | | 524 | 73 | 138 | 49 | 55 | 139 | 0.263 | 12 | 17 | -0.73 | -0.97 | 0.48 | 0.40 | -0.74 | 10 | 111 | -0.42 | Dozier, Brian | | MIN | 2B | 136 | | 565 | 77 | 140 | 48 | 47 | 117 | 0.248 | 16 | 14 | -0.12 | -1.04 | 0.18 | 0.69 | -1.82 | 10 | 120 | -0.49 | Seager, Kyle | | SEA | 3B | 143 | | 482 | 61 | 125 | 56 | 48 | 93 | 0.259 | 16 | 8 | -0.10 | -0.52 | -0.36 | -0.57 | -0.91 | 13 | 147 | -0.76 | Castro, Jason | | HOU | C | 112 | | 412 | 54 | 107 | 55 | 49 | 114 | 0.259 | 14 | 1 | -0.40 | -0.55 | -0.94 | -1.11 | -0.81 | 14 | 158 | -0.89 | Morse, Michael | | SF | 1B/OF | 112 | | 375 | 42 | 98 | 53 | 25 | 93 | 0.261 | 16 | 1 | -0.07 | -0.72 | -0.98 | -2.08 | -0.62 | 16 | 187 | -1.06 | Springer, George | | HOU | OF | 82 | | 283 | 38 | 70 | 37 | 32 | 94 | 0.248 | 14 | 14 | -0.47 | -1.74 | 0.23 | -2.41 | -0.91 | 27 | 318 | -1.98 | Baez, Javier | | CHC | SS | 35 | | 128 | 15 | 31 | 18 | 5 | 40 | 0.244 | 8 | 2 | -1.30 | -3.07 | -0.83 | -4.21 | -0.47 | |

Thanks MB, is it alright if I call you MB? I'm definitely mulling this one over. I haven't seen Fielder play yet, but I have read a few doom and gloom/portends of things to come stories. I've been looking for a lower priced bat but haven't found one yet (though it's still extremely early); my teams generally don't have such a high-end pitcher to start the season, but it has been kinda of nice so far. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
