12 team h2h, 5x5, 6 keepers.

I can keep Kimbrel in the 5th round next year, 3rd the following year . I wouldn't be able to keep Fielder next year. Should I make this trade?

I originally tried to get Adrian Gonzalez from this team by offering Minor/Hawkins and this was the counter offer (none of the players involved would be worth keeping).

Kimbrel is a more borderline keeper for you anyways, and with Jansen/Robertson in tow and your team in need of a hitting boost, I'm good with making this trade.

Thanks for the input. I can also try and flip Kimbrel for one of Hosmer (can be kept in round 16) or Freeman (can kept in round 13) to the other team in the league loaded with first basemen. Do you think either would be a better option? Or are either worth trying to get before I agree for a Fielder swap?

Mbuser suggested targeting a 3rd baseman so that I can part ways with Seager, but there doesn't seem to be a team with an obvious surplus at the position. There is a chance I can get Pedro Alvarez in exchange for Alex Wood. I like Wood, but I hope to still be in the mix when he bumps up against his innings limit, so I'm open to moving him.

Do you think any of the three possible alternatives would be better than Fielder (obviously Fielder ranks higher using the projections, so I mean in terms short/long term return)?

I'd rather have multiple years of Freeman (or Hosmer) than just one year of Fielder, so I'd go for a Freeman-Kimbrel deal first.
