12 team h2h, 5x5, 6 keeper league

I need an extra bat now that my trade has gone through. Someone just dropped Rendon (can be kept in rd 24). Should I put a waiver claim on him? Should I drop Melancon or Hawkins to make the move? The top FA projected bats are Hardy, Infante, Arcia, and Drew (all project higher than Rendon and none require a waiver claim).

I think I'm fine for saves with Jansen, Robertson, and Doolittle. I was also considering dropping one of Melancon/Hawkins for Betances to help with Ks and ratios. I've tried to include Hawkins in various trade offers but have had no takers; right now I'm not sure his saves are worth the hits to peripherals.

Thoughts on either move are appreciated.

Agree with you that Hawkins' saves probably aren't worth the ratio hits, especially with you having a group of solid closers in place. Rendon isn't going to touch his April numbers, but he's still worth a shot in a keeper as he's not anywhere as bad as he's been in May either. I'd make that swap and hold onto Melancon here - still gives you solid ratios and the occasional save as well.
