I'm in a keeper league and would appreciate some advice on draft strategy and league settings in bball monster.

I joined a 12 team league last year- H2H, category-based, 5X5 standard (R, HR, RBI, SB, BA)  and (W, SV, WHIP, K, ERA)

12 Active hitting spots: C, 1b, 2b, SS, 3b, IF, OF X4 , Util X2. There are  8 Active Pitching spots: 2 SP, 2 RP, 4 P

There are 4 Bench Spots, 2 DL spots and 1 NA spot.   We got to keep 14 keepers.   I've inserted my team analysis.  the only player missing is Addison Russell who is inactive

I set my league settings to 12 active hitters and 10 Pitchers (8 active + 2 bench spots).

So my questions are

1) would you make any changes to my league settings?

2) my minimum innings pitched per week is 15. In a standard 5x5 H2H scoring system, is there a general strategy towards drafting pitchers when the minimum innings/week is quite low? I was wondering about targeting more relief pitchers  as there seem to be quite a few who can maximize SV, WHIP and ERA which will help me win 3 out of 5 categories.

Thanks!

12 Teams | 15 Hitters Per Team [5 Active = BA R HR RBI SB] | 10 Pitchers Per Team [5 Active = ERA WHIP W SV SO]

The competition for the fifth spot in the Angels' rotation could have very little to do with how the candidates perform and everything to do with how Garrett Richards' rehab progresses.

Garrett Richards will throw in a minor league game on Saturday. It means he probably won't face any big league hitters before being activated.

The settings look good.  Even though your innings limit is low, I would likely not punt since you already have an elite SP. Is the strength of your keepers similar to others, or do you feel the need to try something desperate to win this year?

Thanks for the quick reply, Ken. My team is one of 2 expansion teams that joined last year so my team is made up of younger upside players as a whole.  My keepers are probably average /middle of the pack right now. No rush to win it all this year but just remain competitive.  That's a good point with having an elite SP - will build towards a balanced pitching staff (SP/RP).
