12 team h2h 5x5 with 6 keepers

Been offered Trout (rd 16) + Alvarez (rd 13) for Harper (rd 15) + Springer (rd 24) + Greinke (rd 3)

I'm tempted to replace Alvarez with Posey (rd 2) or Greinke with Minor, but I don't want to be greedy and scupper the deal. Pulling the trigger means I'd drop Wong and try to find another pitcher; not many good options on the wire, which means I might try a prospect like Heaney.

Who are your current 6 keepers? Segura, Freeman, Carpenter, Springer, Harper, and Taveras?

I'd def pull the trigger (though I'm not an experienced keeper league player).  Just think Trout is a couple tiers above everyone but Miggy and Tulo right now, he's 23, and I don't think Springer or Harper could reach that high.  How long can you keep players, and how does the round kept change each year?

But if you can make the deal better, that's gravy.

If the season ended today that would be my likely six, though I hope McCutchen gives me reason to reconsider. I'm not counting on it, but I'd love to see Baez up for a bit this year to gauge his value.

The keepers move up two rounds with each season. So a player taken in the 16th round this year occupies a 14th round pick next year. One player can be kept in the first three rounds, and you can hold a player with 1st round value indefinitely.

Baez doesn't look close to coming up but maybe we see him very late this year. Maybe Jansen or Doolittle would be your new 6th keeper if you make the deal. Springer's value is likely at its peak so it would be nice to capitalize on it now.

Holy hell, the SOB pulled the offer before I could accept it. I wish I'd seen it like @gehrenberg from the beginning.
