So, I have recently decided to shift gears & instead of focus on winning all categories, only shoot to win: W, K, QS, ERA, WHIP, H, R, SB, OBP -- so basically punt SV, HR, RBI -- I have made a few moves to fulfill that purpose. Looking at my team who would you suggest I move to further accomplish this? What should I move them for? Note this is a full dynasty league. I hold Addison Russell & Javier Baez as NA slot rookies too FYI I'm currently 7th place - top 6 make the playoffs 10 Teams | 11 Hitters Per Team $35000 Per Team [4 Active = H SB R OBP, 2 Punted = HR RBI] | 14 Pitchers Per Team $35000 Per Team [5 Active = W ERA WHIP SO QS, 1 Punted = SV] 1 | 8 | 1.05 | 0.94 | +0.11 | Cano, Robinson | | SEA | 2B | 66 | | 249 | 34 | 80 | 41 | 23 | 30 | 0.322 | 7 | 4 | 0.385 | 2.17 | -0.21 | 1.64 | -0.31 | 0.65 | 1.70 | 3 | 27 | 0.79 | 0.20 | +0.59 | Gardner, Brett | | NYY | OF | 63 | | 254 | 34 | 71 | 23 | 28 | 60 | 0.278 | 5 | 12 | 0.357 | 0.94 | -0.94 | -1.02 | 1.29 | 0.51 | 0.44 | 4 | 37 | 0.73 | 0.05 | +0.68 | Carpenter, Matt | | STL | 2B/3B | 63 | | 251 | 36 | 72 | 21 | 32 | 42 | 0.288 | 4 | 2 | 0.378 | 1.17 | -1.31 | -1.32 | -0.68 | 1.03 | 1.39 | 5 | 48 | 0.46 | -0.03 | +0.48 | Pedroia, Dustin | | BOS | 2B | 64 | | 251 | 35 | 71 | 26 | 27 | 33 | 0.282 | 3 | 5 | 0.353 | 0.96 | -1.44 | -0.54 | -0.17 | 0.81 | 0.22 | 5 | 43 | 0.30 | 0.00 | +0.30 | Blackmon, Charlie | | COL | OF | 54 | | 233 | 36 | 66 | 23 | 13 | 34 | 0.285 | 7 | 8 | 0.332 | 0.41 | -0.19 | -1.03 | 0.51 | 1.00 | -0.71 | 4 | 34 | 0.24 | 0.08 | +0.16 | Holliday, Matt | | STL | OF | 59 | | 222 | 33 | 62 | 28 | 31 | 36 | 0.280 | 7 | 2 | 0.381 | -0.14 | -0.23 | -0.26 | -0.70 | 0.41 | 1.38 | 5 | 44 | -0.42 | 0.00 | -0.42 | Springer, George | | HOU | OF | 60 | | 221 | 32 | 54 | 33 | 29 | 79 | 0.243 | 12 | 3 | 0.344 | -1.19 | 1.27 | 0.42 | -0.41 | 0.08 | -0.17 | 9 | 89 | -0.60 | -0.46 | -0.14 | Belt, Brandon | | SF | 1B | 59 | | 199 | 25 | 56 | 29 | 21 | 50 | 0.280 | 7 | 3 | 0.357 | -0.93 | -0.31 | -0.06 | -0.53 | -1.28 | 0.33 | 10 | 91 | -0.82 | -0.48 | -0.34 | Ozuna, Marcell | | MIA | OF | 63 | | 218 | 26 | 59 | 31 | 16 | 65 | 0.270 | 9 | 2 | 0.323 | -0.52 | 0.23 | 0.14 | -0.67 | -1.06 | -1.03 | 18 | 179 | -1.13 | -1.28 | +0.14 | Alcantara, Arismendy | | CHC | 2B | 44 | | 178 | 22 | 47 | 17 | 11 | 49 | 0.264 | 4 | 9 | 0.311 | -2.02 | -1.23 | -1.89 | 0.63 | -1.89 | -1.25 | 19 | 182 | -1.22 | -1.29 | +0.07 | Votto, Joey | | CIN | 1B | 37 | | 126 | 22 | 34 | 16 | 29 | 28 | 0.273 | 5 | 1 | 0.412 | -3.62 | -0.88 | -1.96 | -0.81 | -1.98 | 1.52 | 13 | 128 | -1.28 | -0.89 | -0.39 | Singleton, Jon | | HOU | 1B | 58 | | 198 | 25 | 46 | 25 | 25 | 64 | 0.231 | 10 | 1 | 0.321 | -2.18 | 0.53 | -0.74 | -0.75 | -1.19 | -1.01 | 17 | 167 | -1.29 | -1.20 | -0.09 | Myers, Wil | | TB | OF | 50 | | 168 | 21 | 44 | 21 | 20 | 44 | 0.263 | 6 | 3 | 0.342 | -2.40 | -0.71 | -1.34 | -0.53 | -2.03 | -0.21 | 16 | 160 | -1.44 | -1.15 | -0.29 | Gomes, Yan | | CLE | C | 54 | | 178 | 22 | 48 | 25 | 11 | 43 | 0.269 | 7 | 0 | 0.321 | -1.93 | -0.40 | -0.73 | -0.97 | -1.96 | -0.89 | 25 | 249 | -2.05 | -2.07 | +0.02 | Betts, Mookie | | BOS | SS | 30 | | 106 | 12 | 29 | 13 | 11 | 13 | 0.271 | 2 | 6 | 0.344 | -4.34 | -1.79 | -2.43 | 0.13 | -3.90 | -0.08 | 36 | 351 | -3.18 | -2.87 | -0.31 | Baez, Javier | | CHC | SS | 16 | | 57 | 7 | 14 | 8 | 2 | 18 | 0.244 | 3 | 1 | 0.286 | -6.21 | -1.37 | -3.14 | -0.82 | -5.04 | -0.65 | |

I assume this is a 1-year strategy which is why you want to hold onto Springer? The goal would be to find players with a low Punt+ value that you're willing to trade away this season. Which players are you definitely keeping for next year? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
this is a dynasty so we keep the entire roster - the strategy plan was for the long term - several years - not just this year - I want to ignore HR & RBI but load up on the other offensive cats, given the strength of my pitching -- on a side note: what parameters are being used to come up with these "insert team analysis ranks? What I mean is the ranks the players show in the analysis don't jive with what shows up when I actually go to the analysis page? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
The inserted team analysis shows a total value which should match the total value under Team Analysis. Are you using a Per Game analysis under Team Analysis? Your pitching already looks decent for your strategy. For hitting, since you're making this a multi-year strategy, Springer, Belt, Ozuna, and Singleton look like they're tradable. I imagine Springer would bring good value. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
This is what shows up when i use the analysis tab - 0% Agree (0 votes) |
OK, I see. When viewing Hitters only under Team Analysis, the rounds/ranks are based on hitters only while it uses combined Hitter and Pitcher ranks on the Team Analysis inserted here. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
I just doublechecked my settings. under the analysis tab both hitters & pitchers are selected 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Yes, but under Team Analysis, it's showing Hitter and Pitcher rank numbers separately, and on the insert here, it's combining the two groups when it fills the ranks. We'll update this page to match the Team Analysis since I think that method makes more sense. There are a few pages where these ranks combined, and we'll look to make this more consistent between the pages. The main culprit is the Player Rankings page, where both hitters and pitchers are shown in one list so we show a combined rank. I think it would a little odd to have two separate ranks there. The real solution is to have a Hitter Rank and a Pitcher Rank which is on our list of to-do. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
ohhhh gotcha -- thanks for the info and looking into it 0% Agree (0 votes) |
