12 team H2H Weekly Points -

I was offered Puig and Adrian Gonzalez for my Gerrit Cole.  Seems like a nice haul, but should I aim higher for the current #1 Overall player?

Seems reasonable to me.  I wouldn't expect Cole to be the #1 pitcher going forward, and there's upside with Puig when healthy. Do you have a place for these two hitters? Who would you have to drop?

Hard trying to find a balance between short/longer term options.  Chavez and Reddick have both been great for me, but aren't projected very well going forward.  Guess that means I should be looking to trade them.  Gonzalez and Puig would replace the two of Belt/Burns/Moss I'm currently starting each week.  This is how my lineup looks:

C: Vogt

1B: Miggy

2B: Kinsler

3B: Donaldson

SS: Correa

OF: Moss

OF: Betts

OF: JD Mart

OF: Reddick

U: Belt

Bench: Burns

SP (Start 5): Kluber, Strasburg, Cole, Quintana, Chavez, Hammel, CarMart, Walker, E-Rod, Morton, Matz

RP (Must start 2 Closers): Chapman and Street

The projections say to do it so I don't want to argue against those :) You're getting two top 20 hitters for a top 15 pitcher, and it looks like you have needs for those two positions.

So I made the deal and now was offered Brantley, Lester, and Hosmer for Puig and Gonzo.  Seems like another no brainer considering Brantley and Lester are both projected ahead of Puig and Gonzo ROS.  The whole reason I moved Cole was because I wanted to open up another streaming spot in my rotation, but if I accept this I kind of have to start Kluber, Stras, Lester each week.

Puig and Brantley are similar enough so it's Hosmer/Lester for Gonzalez. I think it's fairy even since Lester has underachieved. If I felt my team needed the boost, I would make the deal assuming Lester can be much better the 2nd half.
